@Magenta and many as individuals...let's not overlook the individuals' efforts.

@Pretzel I made that statement because, not only do individuals do horrible things, very few people seem to be doing much to try a d stop it, prevent it and make actual meaningful changes. That makes us as a whole, a disgusting species. We just keep shrugging, asking what can be done as if that is all one can do.

@FoxyGoddess I get it. And understand that life should be better. I think the question how do you prevent it is valid though. Because throughout history we have not been able to effect a meaningful change.
