@Morvoren I feel you. I did not walk away from an abusive partner right away, and it was 100% my fault once she showed her true colors.

@Notsimilarreally In some cases it’s true, unfortunately. I lost a colleague who got involved with someone [b]knowing[/b] he beat his former wife. I suppose she thought things would be different with her. She was right, he killed her. 😞

@bijouxbroussard yeah but for women who've been made to believe they're always at fault, and who didn't ignore or miss signs but ended up in the situation anyway, that could just be a triggering thing to read and spark some bad feelings. If you don't care about that though ok I see how it is.
