Even tried or experienced communal bathing?

We haven't and really have no idea what it's be like.

Would it be segregated into men only and women only sections? Or would it be mixed gender?

I did it in Japan. It was segregated, but being the only non-Asian i really stood out. A bit of a weird experience.

Sometimes bubbles in a bath are from a detergent (soap), but sometimes they're from extra protein in the water. Just something to think about.
