An associates degree (and/or 12.college credits) should be part of the k12 experience. I forced my high school years to include science research and publication. 12 credits across 3 years and I won awards from the Army and Navy for medical research.

I feel like k-12 gives you the basics like structure, responsibility, teamwork but the life skills that actually help you prosper.. you gotta figure those out yourself. Some lessons only come from experience

@theweekdy I can somewhat agree to that but given half of my junior year of English class was dedicated to a long dead playwright (Shakespeare) whose works were entire disconnected from our current system and economic survival I’d say school did me a disservice making me less likely to succeed by instructing me in antiquated English. Then the overwhelming focus of history on ww1 and ww2 stripped me of any relevant conflict resolution or communication skills instead strongly giving me the impression conflict is the only solution. War mongering Therefore the basics need an update! Desperately!
lessons and texts from when postal mail was considered the only and fastest way after telegraph. Now it’s the internet age. wtf there was dial up when I entered 3rd grade.
But here’s how to address a post card.
Seriously?
