Something to think about……

Very true!

I believe I’m a gorgeous 25 year old woman.

Still got Ernest Borgnine staring back at me. 😒
@Princess54 Not in the least but I salute your use of that time honored deflection technique. 🫡

@OlderSometimesWiser As a Man Thinketh is a classic 1903 self-help book by James Allen that argues a person's character, circumstances, and destiny are direct results of their thoughts, emphasizing that by mastering one's mind, individuals can achieve personal transformation and success. The book, inspired by the biblical proverb "As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he," teaches that thoughts shape reality and encourages readers to cultivate positive, purposeful thinking to improve their lives, health, and achievements.

@OlderSometimesWiser Max, where is Freeway!?

If true, I am the one who thinks that we are what we do.
With full respect for the ones that think and are otherwise, of course

@Princess54 I never do. I did have a great career, did achieve many goals, but still have others. At our ages though, every little achievement is huge. (if your age is accurately reported)
Princess54 · 70-79, F
@samueltyler2 I will be 72 January 1. Right now my biggest achievement is getting through the day. Being grateful. I don’t want to live with regrets.

@Princess54 I have you by a lot. Sorry to hear that you seem to be having trouble.

I am very grateful for what I have, I wish I could do more for others in need.
Every time an “ influencer” is arrested, your statement is proven incorrect.

If I believe I am a doctor when I’m not, can I successfully work in the ER doing brain surgery?

Meh, my little brother swore he was Superman. The broken arm and lack of flying proved him wrong.
Nitedoc · 51-55, M
Not really.
Princess54 · 70-79, F
@Nitedoc what you’re thinking?
SchoolBelle · 61-69, F
As long as we believe we are what we are, this is true.

But also more than a little trite.

Those who believe they are Napoleon or Nell Gwynne or descended from a master-race of extraterrestrials are, generally, not what they believe they are.l

Not always..

When it comes to the spiritual, we are what are believe we are. When it comes to the physical, we are what we prove we are.

Princess54 · 70-79, F
@BigGuy2 I’m not able to draw now. I wasn’t much of an artist. Sure you can ask.
BigGuy2 · 31-35, M
@Princess54 🤔 has your depression stemmed from an incident in your life

... if you want to reply, reply in PM's if it makes you feel more comfortable
