Celebrating someone's death is tasteless and in bad form and potentially evil. It is not the worst thing someone can do. I think causing those deaths is worse, but often that gets a pass.

Thing is, Kirk ran his mouth quite a bit and people can say "Freedom of speech" but words can have consequences.

Possibly, but when it is someone that is h4ted by many, there is a sense of relief.
Kirk was a huge 2nd amendment advocate, supposedly even talking about how school shootings were just an unfortunate price to pay for the right to bear arms.

Translation - he was basically saying it is worth it for schools to be shot so we could keep our gun rights.
