Business managers calling themselves Chief xxx Officer in place of the the simpler, less pretentious xxx Director.

Historians and novelists insisting on using only the present tense for narrating what has happened, not what is happening.

"An apple a day keeps the doctor away." NOT true. 🤔🤔🤔 UNLESS they are organic apples grown without pesticides! And even then...those DOCTORS are EVERYWHERE!!! 🤣🤣🤣
