It's not you. You're hilarious, smart, and ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS !! So, don't give up. But, to echo some comments you've already received, understand the limits of the very "special" audience that is the SW commumity.

In general, a majority of people here are absorbed in their own real or imagined crises, exhausted, not tuned into irony or subtle humor, confused by new information, politically whacked, and in my case lazy & careless about who I connect with and how.

It's also a fact that as a woman you have to work harder to be understood or respected. That can lead to frustration, or for me indifference.

I post nothing, respond randomly, don't care if people agree with me or get my jokes, play along with those who feel horny & think I'm a flirt - and more or less have fun on my own terms. I refuse to "work" at being popular on this site or anywhere else.

All that suits me and saves a lot of stress, but I don't recommend it to everyone else. You're wonderfully different and I appreciate that. Don't let the SWamp suck you down ✌

Don't feel bad honey. I've been here ever since this site was established, and sometimes I get no views and mostly I get 25 views haha and then some days is higher. It's really nothing personal. It's just what the person has on their mind at the time and their mood I think.

I think I might know and it’s not due to anything particular that you are doing. EP got this way also, the site is populated with frustrated angry people and they take it out on everyone else here.

I see when I take a couple of days break, it's harder to get a response, if I stay here for 10 hours (having other tabs open on the computer and doing other things) my posts have more responses.

Some days I might post something and get responses after 2-3 hours.

Probably a lot of the latter here, sadly. The Experience Project, SWs predecessor, had a much more active community of members. Enough years have passed that the same could have been true here. but that level of interaction simply never happened.

When I have been gone for more than 12 hours, I tend to skip videos. And maybe others have given up on videos altogether because they still haven't figured out how to watch the ones you need to open in a new tab and don't even bother trying anymore whether it plays inside the post.

I can't answer for anyone else but my reason for not responding is that I prefer to read what you think or about what you do rather than watch a video. Some text, perhaps illustrated with some still photographs, attract me more than just a video.

I don't think this is the best site for engagement. It's sort of say what you want to say and decide to deal with the reactions or not. If you try to make post based on what gets the most attention you won't like yourself very much.

I think you can see from all these responses that you are much appreciated here and we love your contributions

I think it helps to interact with other peoples posts...improves the algae-rithm....plus the quick video thing mentioned before....in addition there are cliques here🤷‍♀
