cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@chrisCA Oklahoma ,the last incident was at a high school in Edmond Oklahoma.
Teslin · M
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout I agree 100%
ShadowWorker · 61-69, F
Yes. Why.... Privacy ..morals .. hormones ..rapist ..child molesters
The list goes on.... it's down right wrong! If same gender restrooms will ever be safe...one toilet, one person at a time.

Yes, and any person who agrees with this is a liar and a fucking idiot. No way I want my granddaughter around some Paedophile getting all excited
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@nedkelly A transgender went into a girls bathroom at a high school in Oklahoma and beat the crap out of her. I think he was jealous or something. He wasn’t even supposed to be using the girl’s bathroom, it’s an Oklahoma law now that they have to use the bathroom of the sex that is on their birth certificate. All he did was prove the point of the ones who don’t want mixed bathrooms.

Can I identify as having reached the age for full Social Security eligibility? If reality is what we say it is and not what it actually is anymore, why not?

SW-User
Yes 🙄
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@SW-User Small children do see that anyway because lots of people bring their little kid with them into restrooms regardless of the gender. I saw women bringing their little sons into women's restrooms. When there's a desperate father with a little girl who refuses to go to women's restrooms alone, do you think he accompanies her there or takes her to men's restrooms?
The question is "see what exactly?" anyway...

Yes - big problem.
Further, any one proposing the idea in government should be immediately removed from office, no discussion.

Nimbus · M
@cherokeepatti How so?
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Nimbus What woman wants to go into a stall with urine splatter all over the seat and toilet? Or even be in a restroom with men?
Nimbus · M
@cherokeepatti Good point 👍
LilPrincess · 46-50, F
I think its just asking for trouble 😕

SW-User
@LilPrincess I know... Women already get hit on by men out in the open. Can you imagine being confined in a small room with some guy who finds you attractive. Scary stuff..
CookieCrumbs · F
I don’t like it. I find it uncomfortable.
Torsten · 36-40, M
yes. Thinking about my nieces in public bathrooms when men, doesnt sit well with me
Dlrannie · 31-35, F
Nope so long as I don’t have to share a cubicle 😂😂
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@chrisCA You reminded me how I got drunk with a friend in the middle of the day when we were 16 and I used the toilet and he pissed into a basin. 🤦♀️😂🤣 If I lost memory and someone told me this happened I would have a hard time to believe it. 😂
meggie · F
They would be full of glory holes. We had problems with them in our work toilets and each time they would fill them up with putty someone would come along with a screw driver, or sharp implement, and poke the hole through again.
A glory hole (also spelled gloryhole and glory-hole) is a hole in a wall or partition, often between public lavatory cubicles or sex video arcade booths and lounges, for people to engage in sexual activity or observe the person in the next cubicle while one or both parties masturbate.

@AbbeyRhode Good point.

@AbbeyRhode President Joe Biden would support this
AbbeyRhode · F
@nedkelly No doubt, that perv bastard would be in there all the time with a bag of lollipops.
PoetryNEmotion · F
When I was a teenager and partied in Buffalo, New York, the bars I danced in were mixed gender. It was easy to get used to both men and women sharing the bathrooms. There were stalls that had sliding locks. No one minded. With two stalls in each bathroom, people waited in the hall until their turn. Being in healthcare, mixed people in close quarters doesn't concern me.
4meAndyou · F
We have mixed gender "one person" bathrooms here already. It's a single room, usually large enough for a wheelchair with a fold down changing table for babies. They are very clean, as a general rule. If they were not, I would be upset by them.

SW-User
@4meAndyou I think the OP meant multiple stall bathrooms, but I could be wrong.
BlueVeins · 22-25
No, I'd be in favor of it. Would save some money.
TeirdalinFirefall · 31-35, M
What I don't get is why it's so hard to just have multiple bathrooms instead of bulk stalls inside one big room.
Jessmari · 46-50
Only if they want to hold conversation. I don't care. I do my business and go.
Eyeinthesky · 56-60, F
Yes. I have to bring my bodyguard/husband with me then.
Ironicman · 56-60, M
No, too many male sex offenders in the UK who would pose a risk.
If from the equalities side organisations insist then they should be compelled to have seperate male and female facilities and a third seperate facility for whoever wishes.

Lilymoon · F
Yes 🤦♀️
Mardrae · F
I’ve used them before, in dance clubs when I was younger. They never had doors so I always asked friends Or random strangers of my sex to go with me to stand in front of the door
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
Been there, done that. Public restrooms are a problem for me either way so whether there's a woman or a man impatiently shuffling around in front of my stall doesn't make much difference.

@samueltyler2 That's not cool. I assume that if there were common restrooms there definitely would be private stalls. Actually I don't get the whole urinals thing. If I were a man I would probably rather use a stall anyway.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@CrazyMusicLover men start using them when they are little. They use less water per flush, and the architects can cram many more into a room than stalls. In some places, they are actually waterless. I developed this silly idea of photographing bathrooms as a side interest.

I dislike anything like that. Something like urinoirs are out of this century, and public toilets without the door been able to close are even worse. Don't get me started!
Ducky · 31-35, F
They already exist. Only they typically allow one person at a time to use them.
BeefySenpie · M
Yeah. The traditional order of life is best in some circumstances

RubySoo · 56-60, F
The only one ive ever been in was horrid. There was a trough, 2 cubicles without doors and two sinks. There was a mirror....but i didnt hang about in there to check my lippy....i couldnt wait to get out!
They dont appeal to me.

Elisbch · M
Yes, I firmly believe they should be separate. Women are in potentially and maybe even more eventually in harms way having them using a bathroom that men use. Bad idea right from the get-go.
OogieBoogie · F
Nope. If anything i think that they would be a benefit: either parent could escort their child to the bathroom to keep an eye on them.
Itd stop this mess with transgendered people, and allow carers to keep an eye on their clients more closely.
Itd mean couples wouldn't have to stand around outside looking creepy while waiting for the other , and itd mean any gendered police or security could respond to a call .
Im all for it. I mean, disabled toilets have been non genedered for years and its not a problem .🤷♀️
Edit: and as to creeps, child molesters etc - I think with a general public restroom they would be less likely to commit assault of vulnerable people if there was a higher likelihood of other males being in there. ...as they would get their heads beat in.

@OogieBoogie I already get harrassed by men out in the open, I don't need them harrassing me in a bathroom where I'm even more vulnerable 🙄.

In Germany for since I can remember in some places there are all gender changing rooms for saunas where everyone goes naked anyway
