Just a thought.

Many of the people I know admire those who are blunt with their feelings and label it as genuine. I always felt attacked whenever I heard this, especially when a friend mentioned it. Could it be that what they really mean is they like people who think like them? Or do they see those who don’t share their mindset and attitude as fake?

There are empaths, INFJs, introverts, and individuals who either have duality or are multifaceted. There are also people who possess all of that. I think this kind of person often uses filters when dealing with others. This doesn’t mean they are insincere; they are simply unique. Being different isn’t a bad thing, but it can be really tough to be misunderstood, and even worse, to be labeled as two-faced.

Someone who is blunt is instantly most likely honest keeping you from guessing.

I can relate to this. Just because someone doesn't say everything they think doesn't mean they're fake. Sometimes they're just trying to be kind and respectful.

I don't know if blunt is the right word, honest works. No need to hit someone over the head about it!
