Is your car new or secondhand?

It was second or third or fourth hand when I bought it. It only had 50,000 miles on it, and it was already 7 years old, and had been a lease car. It's 18 years old now.

My daily driver, at 27 years old and 201,000 miles, is neither. Time done forgot about that thing.
I am guessing I am the umpteenth owner.

It is rusty, clunky, junky, stinky, ugly, oil burny, and a bunch of other undesirable words ending in "y" but it starts and drives every day.

I got it used, it had about 7K miles on it and I’ve had it about 6 years now, it’s got less than 35K miles on it now. I never have purchased a brand new car.

I never buy a secondhand car... I want to know its technical problems from the beginning, if any and always it's good to have the guarantee from the beginning

@ViciDraco I was window shopping on CL the other day and some people are asking 2 to 3 thousand for cars that are destroyed. Stuff that a junk yard would not even buy.

@SW-User I consider anything less than 6 years old that was bought new as "a new car". "An old car" starts around ten years and goes until it won't run safely anymore.
