What are people doing that you're not doing?

@Umile I do good for the sake of it being the right way to do things. I can only control my actions and reactions. It sounds wrong that you seem to base doing good more on those around you making you behave that way.

I try to do good. It's embedded in me.

Does the bad people around me affect my decisions in doing the right thing ? Most of the time, no.

Does the good people arounde me help make life more positive and easier to choose the right, yes.

But, I always try to choose tge right.

@FreeSpirit1 when I first moved to North Carolina, I didn't understand why the shelves at the grocery store would empty so quickly at just the threat of an ice storm. Then we had one that took down the power lines for about a week or two, and then I understood why 🤣

@Umile My sister s blood sugar can rise from a hot shower. From pain, stress, even from coffee. It is very frustrating.

Eating at dine in restaurants. I haven’t done it in years and don’t see the appeal.

@Flenflyys I have yet to go into a restaurants with indoor seating since COVID. (So 4 years.) My sister is really high risk for Covid complications so I stayed away from indoor restaurants. I have done outdoor seating. I do miss it sometimes but honestly its not the end of the world.

People are not being smart and won't start living like it's the 1800's or older. Granted I'm guilty myself, but we are slowly working on it.

For the last 20 years I have been canning foods, milling our own wheat and rye to make our own flour (Did that a few times. That's a lot of work), we butcher our own animals, we saved the bones and hides. We do more, but you get the idea
