What are your feelings on capital punishment? Are there some crimes that force the forfeit of !ife?

If you take an innocent life, you forfeit your own. That and graffiti. You tag your neighborhood up, you get left twisting in the wind from the gallows.

in theory, I am not against the death penalty but considering people have been convicted of crimes the later are later proved innocent it kinda hard to reverse death. Maybe if death sentences were held to a higher standard like beyond all doubt, crimes worthy of death to me be rape(actual not how the word is abused lately), pedophilia, murder, serial killing, health insurance companies failing to honor legitimate claims resulting in death, big pharma being negligent and pushing drugs known to be high risk or detrimental by falsifying testing, police killing unarmed civilians not resisting, etc.

Against for two reasons. 1- It's wildly expensive to allow the convinced person to appeal almost endlessly. Which is ok and should be allowed. 2- Innocent people have been executed. Completely unacceptable. 🤷‍♂️

There have been people executed for crimes that it was later proven they.did not commit

In theory I have no problem with the death penalty. In actual use it's a huge problem and should not be used

I think if you can be 100% certain that someone is guilty there are some crimes where the death penalty is justified.

I believe in it. Sometimes death is too merciful for some of these criminals. In some cases they need to be put in a prison’s general population and let nature take it’s course.
I our system it can take twenty years for someone to be executed. Should be done quicker
