Legalising it would cause tax and other annoying issues like licences and inspections. It all sounds annoying. Keep it banned I think.

Because then the people in that industry can get worker protections and medical care. Working in illegal fields means working for criminals and thus you are more likely to be abused. Having it legal means you would be able to sue if abused, getting regular STD testing, and possibly the ability to do good client screening.
