I'm not coping right now. Send... hugs, I guess, maybe?

This whole week has been fairly bad for me, mentally. it started on Monday with a particularly heavy brain fog that made just thinking feel like slogging through concrete with a haze so thick you can't see your hand in front of your face. It's just gotten worse as the week went on, with suicidal thoughts coming back and getting more intense, to the point where I actively wanted to hurt myself. I saw a doctor today, and they suggested seeing a therapist. But that's probably not going to help relieve the voice in my head right now that's telling me to kill myself because nobody will ever want me in any way.

But it's whatever, I guess.

You seriously need to talk this over with someone.
You will need to work very hard to pull yourself back together.
You have to love yourself first and have hobbies interests to focus on. Do you execise keep fit eat healthy. Be the best possible you when you feel better try joining groups or meeting new people. Volunteer work is very rewarding. Hang on in there stay strong. Come on SW and have a laugh. 😘 There are people on here who will always be supportive.

I would suggest you see a nutritionist, do regular exercise, monitor how much water you drink and learn to meditate and if you really need to, see a therapist. some people, like me, are sensitive to the amount of carbs in their diet. if I eat sugar and high carb foods i'll be depressed and foggy for days. magnesium help to recover from the effects of sugar and carbs and reduces the fogginess. but the best is regular exercise. doctors and therapist don't know much about it and will want to give you medication.

@Cutiepi23 CFC is a name given to a series of symptoms, no specific mechanism or cause has been identified, it basically just means "being tired all the time" and the best way to cure that is eating well, slow increase in physical activity and meditation( or cognitive therapy which has the same results as meditation). I believe the increase in depression, CFC and ADD in our society are symptoms of modern lifestyle so are better fixed by change of lifestyle.
@reflectingmonkey my livestyle has changed since being diagnosed. Nothing helps the symptom much. ME is viral although some gps will argue that its not. I just take each day as it comes. I dont think the medical profession know enough about these conditions. My gp thinks its viral.

@reflectingmonkey I agree with you there also.

@CallmeHopelessNotRomantic 🤗 I'm sorry, Amy.
@SW-User I worry more about you. I'll get through. I worry so much about you though. I finally got a good therapist. And if you need to take medicine for it don't be ashamed.

@InOtterWords I'm still considering it.
@SW-User the first time I did therapy I hated it, then I tried to kill myself. I resolved to try again and it did help.
It's not a complete answer, but you learn some good coping mechanisms.
You owe it to yourself to give everything a try
