Since when people stopped replying in DMs

Yeah I know what you mean. I use to login and people I'd never spoke to before would randomly send me DMs. It was almost like they were trying to communicate with me or something, LOLZ😅

Now I don't get any for weeks on end and when I do it's usually just a generic ''hi'' message.

I never respond to strangers in DM's -- I figure they are up to something underhanded.

I will respond to a DM if it is from someone I have had positive and non-trivial interactions with in public.

Just about every dm I get is pervy so I don't bother checking them anymore

DM's are full of Dirty Photographs, Harassment and Hate. Unless you're a friend of mind. I don't answer them.

You want to talk me. Talk to me in a public area or not at all.

Some people don’t exchange DMs or reply to them until they feel like they’ve gotten to know posters.

Almost every single one is a scammer.

Since most of them are either people insisting on sexual content or people who only ever say “hi. How r u?” a hundred times, DMs are worthless unless someone has proven themselves capable of actual conversation.

Some say it is dating. I call it interaction.

I don't do cyber or sexual talk. So that eliminates half.

You shouldn't be expecting DMs

I don't usually initiate DMs and only reply to them.

Most people avoid DMs on here, especially women receiving them from men. They can outright block seeing them altogether, otherwise they go in their Requests folder if it’s from someone new, which can easily be ignored.

Only reply to PMs. Very rarely initiate them. And that's only if I have known them for a while.

This hasn't changed for me since I started here in 2016.

not sure,,,, i just don’t like to dm much.. i rather explore a persons mind thru their interactions w others and myself publicly.

Maybe upload your dp then people will respond
