This woman said she rather have male friends because we're crazier, weirder and more entertaining than women. Is that an insult or just a weird

Compliment?

I prefer male friends because they share more of my interests than most women I've met. Also men are usually really up front. Women can be very underhanded unfortunately.
@LeGrotesque Some women can be underhanded because they’ve been taught not to trust anyone—especially not other women. It’s unfortunate.

It's weird and comes off as her having internalized misogynism. I have known PLENTY of crazy weird entertaining women 😆

There are some things I like better about hanging out with guys. I feel like they spend more time just freely discussing their interests. My girl friends want to talk about how I and everyone is doing and only rarely discuss interests. Guys will spend more time talking about what they are into right now than on how they are doing or feeling. Though they do discuss that if it's a healthy guy friend group.

There are benefits to having both guys and girls as friends I think. I recommend everyone be friends with both men and women.

She's what's called a "pick me."
Well I don’t think it’s an insult.
Sounds to me more Trumpist stupidity.

Its neither. Its just her preference and her opinion of how she sees things.
It sounds like her perception, based upon her personal experience. There are plenty of crazy, weird and entertaining women—my youngest sister, for example, is all of those things.

I prefer men who are not crazy and weird, myself.

Who knows what brought that about or what she really wanted to convey with that comment. I'd probably let it pass right on by and let her actions tell me what she really wanted to say.
Insult and untrue
