I don't get where this attitude older men have comes from

They seem to think they can tell a younger woman their age, and that alone will get her head over heels for him. Where does this delusion come from? 🤷🏼‍♀

I don't understand why they do that. I'm not against age gaps, but I feel like the existence of one requires a little more effort and certainly not a sense of entitlement.
