Democracy and invading other land are not really mutually exclusive. It's more that we should have matured past all of this war by now.

@ViciDraco both democracy and not invading others are national responsibilities under today's international law. Americans consistently deny all such responsibilities. Democracy is not a human right and invasions aren't war crimes for Americans because there's no knowledge of international law allowed.

@Roundandroundwego There are so many things we could agree on, but your sheer hatred is not productive.

@ViciDraco positive was my way for forty years. Talking nice to evil got to me. It's still evil. And talking nice didn't do squat.
Americans aren't that easily insulted. They know they deny international law. They understand why they don't like the UN charter and the human rights in it.
You don't mention international law, but it outlaws these wars. Why not? Is my focus on the UN charter and international law what you mean by "hate"?

@Roundandroundwego No, I mean you sound as bad as the worst Americans griping about Iranians or Russians. Engaging in stereotyping and bigotry. As if most people aren't just trying to live their lives. There are criticisms to be leveled, sure. But spewing vitriol and lumping an entire group of people into one basket is how evil gets justified.

@ViciDracosure. Sorry the US voters choose evil but they're not open to logic and you blame me for their mindset. okay. I'll buy that. The genocide is cuz I don't sound sweet. And the ecocide, and the poverty in the USA. Not callous conservatives, me and not being nice. Whatever. Same outcome.

@Roundandroundwego When you say the US voters choose evil, do you know what a small portion of Americans are even making that choice?
I do not blame you for their mindset. I am saying you have a similar mindset. That because some fraction of a population has obtained enough power to support and commit evil that the entire population is evil. Once you get to "Americans are Evil" the step to "We should just kill Americans" is much easier to justify.
If you can't see how that logic train is the same as people who have been duped into supporting other international crimes, then you are also as blind as those dupes.
