@MethDozer it biden to turn Zuckerberg if you remember he wasn't friendly with Trump until four yesrs of unhinged democract control. But way to dodge everything i said your void must be deeper than mine because I'm content for the day

I think that many people feel this way in Europe too. It feels like pretty dark times. The threat of war is becoming more tangible. I sincerely hope that recent events prompt Europe to greatly increase its efforts in building up its militaries but I fear that it won't. I fear that we will just kick the can down the road some more whilst making nominal budget increases which barely scratch the surface. I honestly don't blame America for asking Europe to step up, it's about time that we stopped cutting our militaries to the bare bones. The state of our defence forces in the UK is embarrassing. What's even more embarrassing though is the idea that we would accept Ukraine having to give up it's sovereign territory to an invading force. That's a sad day for the world.

I don't think civil war is really feasible. The level of organization required to mount any significant resistance is pretty high. The last US Civil War was largely possible because states had militias instead the country having a standing army. Those organizational units that can stand separate don't really exist. And the ease with which individual cells can be found and leadership eliminated with precision strikes is pretty insane.

I think the financial collapse is more likely. We've got a lot of push towards gilded age policy which led to the great depression.

@SW-User A wave of domestic terror could happen, though I imagine it would be short lived. But rather intense in the middle of it
pride49 · 31-35, M
@ViciDraco Each household in my family have enough guns and ammo to supply like 200 or more people for a prolonged firefight. Many country ppl here do.
ViciDraco · 41-45, M
@pride49 that's a very different thing from having the organization, discipline, and morale to pull anything significant off.

It's plenty for a brief act of terror. It's plenty for a one-off publicity stunt like "holding some ground". But once this is more than one group taking action, games will not be played. Prolonged firefights aren't how a "civil war" would go. In a civil war, the leadership for your cell would be identified and drone striked. Hell, they likely already have enough information to analyze who the primary targets would be.

You could be on the brink of something great, if you let it happen. What is bad about ending wars, untangling corruption, and putting America first?

I guess we shall find out. I felt a similar way before 2020 happened. In late 2019 I had dreams of buildings collapsing and utter chaos.

It is a tad scary right now for sure.

The mafia control over yhe american government is being wiped out by Trump things will seeem really tense but as long as everyone stays sensible we'll be way better off
SW-User
@SW-User we will see

Answer me this

What's the MAGA door prize ? I'm curious
It really feels looming more than ever,,,, like we continually fed the Beast hoping it would keep to its nest and not demand more...but we were wrong .

There is no way we can pay the interest in the national debt. Its another Trillion every 100 days. Our economy will collapse at some point.
SW-User
@Confined I feel it in my waters
ABCDEF7 · M
How you see will it happen?
Hopefully a revolution, but it could be anything else too.
SW-User
@NerdyPotato true ..
pride49 · 31-35, M
As I've said. I've only kept myself alive to watch things go to shit and see those mushroom clouds right before my skin melts off.
MethDozer · M
Yep, people are going to get hurt. Arguably the worst part is that it is exactly what they want. It's sad either way but it's just a little bit more pathetic when it's by true want as opposed by oversight
SW-User
@MethDozer it makes me feel sick
