*Western society is so racked with poor mental health, because our wage gap and cost of living have widened exponentially since our parents were young, therefore in order to survive, our generation is overworking and has almost no time for recovery, and no hope of ever experiencing the comforts that were afforded to the boomers before us.

@DazzaTheHutt except we were raised for a way of life that is no longer feasible. Developing countries more or less are still living and working the way they always have. There is no huge divide between the way they live vs the way their parents did.

@DearAmbellina2113 capitalism emptied every single village in China and revolutionized society there in the past two decades. Globally the entire population is without the resource to live and abandoned or exploited by capitalists.
