When anyone goes in that situation it is really sad. No matter what they did or said. We all need a bit of humanity at times. Yes people can be foul mouthed, obstinate and down right rude but to go that way is wrong.

That's so sad she died like that. The ones cheering it on are no better than her previous behavior.
She was probably quite lonely and maybe she acted out in that way, for the attention. It gave her purpose. I know it would be hard to overlook her meanness, but there is always a root cause. Compassion is a valuable trait.

She made her bed. Sure it would have been great if a little girl and her dog touched her heart and gave her the enlightenment to change her outlook and temperament. Ultimately it is casting pearls to swine with some that have nothing but anger and enmity in their heart for others. I would not cheer it but I would not be overly saddened by her passing either.

I think many communities have "one of those". Personally my practice has been to ignore them. Either you are defending your own position by replying (and lets be real, you arent going to convince them) or you are defending yourself in the court of public opinion. And everyone else already gets the kind of person she is.. So you are wasting your time. Let her waste hers..Even her death wasnt about her. It was about improving life for others..😷

@akindheart I agree. But as an atheist the only kind of immortality I am looking for is to live on in the minds of others with the difference I made in life. She has nothing. She is truly dead and gone..If anything is sounds as if her passing may bring a sigh of relief to some.😷

I have a friend who has accumulated $150k just in student loan interest. So I get the HOA thing. She probably had some sort of mental illness. I hope she's in a better place...as far as witch? IDK what that is really. It seems the witches I've known are more about worshipping womanhood than casting spells...

@DeluxedEdition She may have been hateful, but to let her lay suffering is inhumane. Those people who said that are in the same boat as she was. Cruel and hateful. We can effect people who are difficult. I have.
I wouldn't cheer her death either.

Witches do not act like that. Not authentic ones. Only bitter old women do. I guess I could say Karma intervened. Still that is a horrid way to die. And be undiscovered for that length of time. This is my witch words. Truth. I just hope she did not die slowly upon those floorboards, wishing she had changed her ways. THAT would be the worse.

Death comes for us all. The only question we need to answer is what is next and where do we wish to have our post death existence. Sadly for your witch friend she may be regretting her choice to be a witch.

Think that if there is something beyond then her being a witch would not stop her from being at peace. We all make life choices. Other might not agree with them and there is nothing wrong with that but she left this world in a sad way. I would like to think she’s in a better place now.

@Tradcp I hold no animus toward her at all. I am simply using her as an example of what may lie ahead for those who make foolish choices. I would hope she is in a better place too. However that 'hope' can not take away from my dread that she may have made the wrong choice. If her experience causes one to turn away from evil then her death will not be in vain.

@SnailTeeth The internet has shown the true colors of many people. Hatred spreads like a fire fueled by gasoline. People can be ugly. People can be kind. It depends upon who they really are. Daily on another site I am attacked verbally by one if not two ugly people. It comes out of nowhere. Debating in an adult manner is no longer suitable for many. Their lives must be so pitiful and sad. I tell them what I think about how they are and then I block them. I find it is mostly women and those who claim to be "primal".

She probably had mental problems. I don't think I'd celebrate the death of anyone. That said, sometimes life is easier without certain people. I'll just leave it at that.
