What Have We Become as a Society?

There WAS A lady who lived in my community. Evil, foul mouthed and had nothing kind to say to anyone. She would post mean things on our community board. She came at me for one of my posts and as you know, I responded in kind.

She claimed to be a witch and I guess was a former stripper. She never paid her community HOA fees so she owed over 200,000.

Well, they found her dead in her home. She had been dead for at least 3 months. People cheered and was glad she was dead on the community website.

The lady clearly had problems but I wouldn't wish her life or death on anyone.

what are your thoughts?

Death comes for us all. The only question we need to answer is what is next and where do we wish to have our post death existence. Sadly for your witch friend she may be regretting her choice to be a witch.

Think that if there is something beyond then her being a witch would not stop her from being at peace. We all make life choices. Other might not agree with them and there is nothing wrong with that but she left this world in a sad way. I would like to think she’s in a better place now.

@Tradcp I hold no animus toward her at all. I am simply using her as an example of what may lie ahead for those who make foolish choices. I would hope she is in a better place too. However that 'hope' can not take away from my dread that she may have made the wrong choice. If her experience causes one to turn away from evil then her death will not be in vain.
