What Have We Become as a Society?

There WAS A lady who lived in my community. Evil, foul mouthed and had nothing kind to say to anyone. She would post mean things on our community board. She came at me for one of my posts and as you know, I responded in kind.

She claimed to be a witch and I guess was a former stripper. She never paid her community HOA fees so she owed over 200,000.

Well, they found her dead in her home. She had been dead for at least 3 months. People cheered and was glad she was dead on the community website.

The lady clearly had problems but I wouldn't wish her life or death on anyone.

what are your thoughts?

I think many communities have "one of those". Personally my practice has been to ignore them. Either you are defending your own position by replying (and lets be real, you arent going to convince them) or you are defending yourself in the court of public opinion. And everyone else already gets the kind of person she is.. So you are wasting your time. Let her waste hers..Even her death wasnt about her. It was about improving life for others..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman i sure am not trying to defend her to make myself look good. i just think she lived and died in a horrible fashion.

@akindheart I agree. But as an atheist the only kind of immortality I am looking for is to live on in the minds of others with the difference I made in life. She has nothing. She is truly dead and gone..If anything is sounds as if her passing may bring a sigh of relief to some.😷
