What Have We Become as a Society?

There WAS A lady who lived in my community. Evil, foul mouthed and had nothing kind to say to anyone. She would post mean things on our community board. She came at me for one of my posts and as you know, I responded in kind.

She claimed to be a witch and I guess was a former stripper. She never paid her community HOA fees so she owed over 200,000.

Well, they found her dead in her home. She had been dead for at least 3 months. People cheered and was glad she was dead on the community website.

The lady clearly had problems but I wouldn't wish her life or death on anyone.

what are your thoughts?

That's so sad she died like that. The ones cheering it on are no better than her previous behavior.
She was probably quite lonely and maybe she acted out in that way, for the attention. It gave her purpose. I know it would be hard to overlook her meanness, but there is always a root cause. Compassion is a valuable trait.
