Block me then asks if i want to talk knowing i can't reply

Maybe they sent that and you didn’t respond on “their” timeframe and then they blocked you. You can’t send a message to someone you have blocked

Strange and rude.

I thought the block was two-way though, in that neither party is visible to the other. If I'm right he or she must have lifted the block, perhaps temporarily, just to send the question.

I had the same thing happen to me only yesterday. A question out of the blue from someone whose name was new to me, but under a warning I am not allowed to contact this person!

"I am not allowed"... Me? What did I do wrong? SW's messages can be rather abrupt and suggest they think you are the guilty one!
