Yahoo-Anyone having problems with their emails?

i have had a second account with yahoo for over 15 years. A few years ago, my old emails started to disappear every time i logged in. I had thousands. Now i have none. Last month they asked me to accept ads and I refused. Now my emails from my friends are going into spam. When I move them into my inbox, they completely disappear.

Any ideas what is going on?

I have the standard Yahoo mail (refused to pay for the upgrade add free service...so call me cheap!)
What I have noticed is slow delivery of mail on my PC. I will get email that shows on my phone and not be able to bring it up on my laptop for 15-min to a couple of hours later.

The other issue is they came up with a "focused inbox". This grouped messages into bizarre groups and made it difficult to find messages that I knew were there. It changed automatically with an upgrade. I went into setting (of the email program) and changed it back and it is much easier to find things.

The app for mail on my phone is not the same as that for a PC. It works much better.

I hope you figure out a fix for your problem. Some of my missing hard to find mail was lumped in with other stuff when they reorganized my mail with the "focused" BS.

@bowman81 i had literally thousands of emails over 15 yrs. i was kind of shocked because i am active and they vanished right before my eyes! moving them to inbox meant they disappeared. i noticed that some of my emails were not being delivered either.

I have not had yahoo in many years. They had issues with emails back then too. Spam was an enormous pain in the keister too

That is why I went to Gmail myself. Either you do what yahoo wants or they block/mess with your email account. What they call standard operating procedures/tactics.

No, I just signed in to my mail account and nothing wrong with it.
But will never forgive them for stopping yahoo messenger.

I haven't had any issues. I know if you don't use it for a period of time they will zap all your emails.
