@Starcrossed I agree. He was basically forced to buy it after trying to back out, and he realizes he's not equipped to run a social network like Twitter. Destroying it is the only way he can recoup his losses.

@Starcrossed I sort of agree. But why not just sell it on at the first opportunity? If he made a loss on the sale, he would still have recovered some of his investment and been able to write off the loss.
