How happy will advertisers be to put their ads on a site where $8 gives a phony ad a chance to go viral? Musk's cash cow could bankrupt Twitter!

@ElwoodBlues advertisers are already running away en masse, so that's exactly where this is heading to at the moment. Hopefully someone will find a way to turn this around towards a system that's even better than the old one.

@PiecingBabyFaceTogether good question... I don't think there are any good guys at the moment. The ones who created and kept up the old system sucked. The ones who are breaking that down are making progress, but in the wrong direction if it's left there. The next step is creating a better system in its place, but someone still has to step up to do that.
