@MellyMel22 I got a spam text today saying I owed some company for a credit card debt.. They said they would settle for 60% for a limited time.

That is funny, I haven't had any sort of credit card for about ten years.

I wonder though, since there are SO MANY debt collection scams, how do the actual debt collectors for legit debts get through on the phone? I am guessing most cell phones stop anything that even resembles spam.

But yeah the text said gave a name that sounded as American as apple pie but i BET the son of a bich had a middle eastern accent.

Crap you cannot trust no fckin body contacting your phone anymore. I damned near blocked myself a few times thinking I were a spammer.

Long before TikTok and it's supposed data collection by the Chinese Republic. I am old and set in my ways. Just like I won't buy a pc with an AMD processor. They used to be crap. Probably fine now. But I'm an old dog.
