My Dad mentioned the idea of losing someone who is valuable

Who is valuable to you?

I don't know what I'd do without my brother and my Dad.

Do you have any plans if you lose the most valuable people to you?

I certainly don't.

I couldn't live without my family. They're the people who protect me.

What about you?

@LilPrincess You're a blessed woman.

My family is valuable to me, but I’ve learned that I very well can live without them. How I came to terms with my grief after my dad died was to let myself remember everything, good and bad. Just took time and sat with my memories. Then eventually, I wasn’t thinking about him every day.

I have lost my father, mother, and my son when he was 21 years old to suicide. My son was the worst.

I lost personal friends throughout life and a couple in battle.

All I can say is life is a long series of loses until the day we pass from this earth, and it learning to live and love post those loses that is truly what life and living is all about.

My plan is to just muddle on through. People die, people leave and it will keep happening and continue to happen. I can only rely on myself for success.

But it never hurts to rely on others.
