Please get rid of networks for users like this

If users listed like this

are not able to ever recover their accounts, please remove their networks. Thanks.

FYI

For "people who follow me, but whom I don't follow back", I have these entries all listed as "SW-User" (not clickable):

47 entries matching the first symbol, w/an 'X'

2 entries matching the second symbol, w/the NOT (banned)

and 1 further entry which shows that the other person apparently blocked me:

It is to the management's benefit to keep all folks who ever were part of this board listed. The more users they can show (yes even those who quit, were banned, died, and never ever use their account) the more they can ask for advertising rights.

So, on SW, we really obtain everlasting life. 😳
@bowman81 I'm not asking for the accounts to be impacted...just the networks of dead accounts.

I agree!
Why should we have to block them as they no longer exist?
There should be an “unfriend” button
@Strictmichael75 Actually, these are people who are following me, whom I don't follow back...THAT list is already "unfriended", since I'm not following them, right?

@SomeMichGuy I have a fair share of that also. It makes no sense to me.

I think it makes sense to remove someone from your "is following you" list if they're no longer an account on the site, yeah.
very good point
It's kind of like when icons or other references to a computer program linger on your system after uninstallation.
@familyfunguy Ah, but these people are apparently NOT "uninstalled".

What does it matter if deleted accounts stay on people’s follow lists? It literally impacts on nothing.
Onryo · 22-25, F
@SomeMichGuy it’s like you just discovered the internet. I don’t care about my list, I don’t even know how many people are on it or who they are because it does not impact on anything I do.

I was just pointing out how ridiculous your post is complaining about having accounts that no longer exist on a followers list when them being there does NOTHING!! 🤣 but sure, you keep complaining about non existent problems.

Tag @Nuno and maybe he can explain it in a way that you understand. Deleted accounts have zero impact on a followers list!
@Onryo No, didn't just discover the internet.

And it's unclear as to whether or not they are recoverable, at this time, but clearing them out just makes it easy to find the current info. lol
@Onryo "The Internet" isn't equivalent to either "social media" or "URLS accessible via the HTTP[S] protocols". lol

But you can remove them?
BabyLonia · F
@SomeMichGuy ok....i see. I suppose you can then unblock them but it is a long-winded way.
@BabyLonia Not sure that would change the fact that they followed you, but perhaps; considering the long-lived nature of these lists, it would be odd if those maneuvers could change the other user's decision to follow you....

But easy enough to test...
@BabyLonia Answer...yes, one CAN remove them (adding to follower blocks), then UNblock them...and they do NOT come back.

By getting rid of all the SW-User Xs and banned users at least one year old, the list of "followers of me whom I don't follow back" went from >3 pp (but under 4) to under 2 pp, and the entries aren't riddled with that nonsense.
Updated post text at bottom.

those accounts are deactived. removing them from the forum would mean they could not reactivate their accounts.
@robertsnj I had just been told that "SW-User" accounts, no name, are gone...

A clickable name is recoverable.

And the banned + No name...those are truly gone.

Removing the network isn't removing the account.
@robertsnj Wait..."remove" is showing names for the nameless...

How odd.

Now I'm wondering about what an unclickable "SW-User" means...
