Please get rid of networks for users like this

If users listed like this

are not able to ever recover their accounts, please remove their networks. Thanks.

FYI

For "people who follow me, but whom I don't follow back", I have these entries all listed as "SW-User" (not clickable):

47 entries matching the first symbol, w/an 'X'

2 entries matching the second symbol, w/the NOT (banned)

and 1 further entry which shows that the other person apparently blocked me:

What does it matter if deleted accounts stay on people’s follow lists? It literally impacts on nothing.
@Onryo That's not what I claimed; but--in your scenario--it is definitely in one's own power to follow or not, right?
@Onryo I wrote about people who follow "you", whom "you" don't follow back (which is dependent upon their action of following).

I was able to go from a list over 3 pp. long (and riddled with "SW-User" Xs and various banned users) down to under 2 pp by getting rid of all those entries which were at least a year old. Now the list makes more sense.

@SomeMichGuy I never even look at the lists, I don’t care, they don’t do anything

@SomeMichGuy you were complaining that the list contains accounts that no longer exist…exactly how are they going to bug you? Also following or not makes no difference for them being able to bug you
@Onryo
you were complaining that the list contains accounts that no longer exist…exactly how are they going to bug you?

The list as a whole is for people who follow you, but whom you do not follow back.

THAT list has people who can def. bug you.

Lots of bad entries degrades the list quality and usefulness.

If you went to the grocery store and it had been re-set so that motor oil was next to cereal, tools were between soups and baked goods, etc., it would make the "grocery" label a bit less useful.

Same thing here.

Also following or not makes no difference for them being able to bug you

If they follow you, they get any new post you make in their feed, so they can easily follow your posts.

But you said the most salient point for you earlier:

I never even look at the lists, I don’t care
(Emphasis added.)

That says it all.

@SomeMichGuy oh no, people on the internet can see posts that you post on the internet 😱 so what??!! If they bug you, block them! If you remove them from that list they can still check out your profile every time they’re online and read all of your posts anyway! That list literally does nothing for you, it’s just for them to try and help the algorithm for the feed. Which is why accounts that no longer exist do not affect the list in any way
@Onryo Lmao Yes, I block actual problems, but some things are stopped by blocking a follower.

You seem really invested in something you don't care about.

That list literally does nothing for you, it’s just for them to try and help the algorithm for the feed.

It doesn't help you because, as you've said, you don't use it, and you don't care.

And you can't even acknowledge that a list with bad entries is less useful than a list with good entries. smh

@SomeMichGuy it’s like you just discovered the internet. I don’t care about my list, I don’t even know how many people are on it or who they are because it does not impact on anything I do.

I was just pointing out how ridiculous your post is complaining about having accounts that no longer exist on a followers list when them being there does NOTHING!! 🤣 but sure, you keep complaining about non existent problems.

Tag @Nuno and maybe he can explain it in a way that you understand. Deleted accounts have zero impact on a followers list!
@Onryo No, didn't just discover the internet.

And it's unclear as to whether or not they are recoverable, at this time, but clearing them out just makes it easy to find the current info. lol
@Onryo "The Internet" isn't equivalent to either "social media" or "URLS accessible via the HTTP[S] protocols". lol
