Some replies not showing a notification

I don't know what this is about and if it's a new thing but I saw a reply to one of my comments not showing a notification and being marked sensitive. I'm wondering how many comments I've missed like this.

Because everyone is so moody because hateful intense propaganda is flooding everyone's phones and causing mass hysteria the media likes to do this when Trump is in office. I went 4 years without seeing politics on facebook now it's unusable because of it. These people are going mad and it cuases them to reply more hateful and the replies get hidden

@SW-User I've noticed this for months, if not 2 years. It has nothing to do with Trump being in the Whitehouse.

It's been that way for a while. If a comment contains anything that's considered swearing in some contexts, it doesn't trigger any notifications and is hidden.

@NerdyPotato I consider this a glitch. I have my settings on adult and to show Nudity, Fetish, and Sensitive content so should get a notification. I don't know what the use of those are if it's ignored and I miss stuff.

@MeisterAndrew yeah, it's way too strict in my opinion, especially with the maturity filters explicitly disabled.

@MeisterAndrew the owner of the posts always gets a notification about all replies I believe. I did not get one about that comment because of the S word.

@NerdyPotato Yeah, I'm getting notifications for the post, even censored ones. Where I didn't get one before was with a reply to my reply. But yes agree on it being too strict. The filters shouldn't apply to us who disabled them.
