You can buy them. Go to the three bars to the right of your profile picture, click on the number of coins you have left, and it will take you to a page where you can buy more coins.

The OTHER ways to earn coins are very slow. Things like posting, for example.

You get coins for interactions basically, creating questions, getting people to answer those questions, getting reactions, maybe giving reactions (I'm not sure) but basically being involved in SW get you more SW coins.
