Spam Scam texts?

Have you ever replied to an obvious scam text with something smart ass and if so was it ignored or did it make things worse.

If you reply, the spammer knows that he has reached a valid email or text address and will continue to bother you.

@4meAndyou And those initial contacts are probably automated, so a "smart ass" reply probably won't even be read by anyone -- any reply will trigger the next message.

@4meAndyou Yup I'm well aware and while it's so tempting to give them crap I never would reply. Was just curious if anyone has and the results.

I asked for their Social Security number and their date of birth so I can verify their identity… LOL
Funny no one‘s given it to me yet. They just hang up.

@PalteseMalconFunch You know most of them autodialed. Some are just looking to confirm a valid number.

@Gibbon I got actually hacked a few years ago. I had a Facebook it got taken over and they got my 2FA. Ever since then I’ve just messed with them for fun.

@PalteseMalconFunch I'm just wondering if and how they responded to anyone's smart ass replies. I keep getting fake Amazon texts and I want to reply something I have premeditated and extremely vulgar.
