I would send a follow-up immediately, with the simple statement that you sent that text to the wrong person, and short "I'm sorry."

Despite all the comments people are making here, sexual harassment is recognized, legally, even when the recipient is a supervisor. I don't know your boss's personality, and so I don't know how he would react, but I would play it safe and have a text "record" of yourself doing the right thing after your mistake.

This was awhile ago but my mom texted her boss "letsgo on a cigarette sexy lady" thinking she texted her coworker... her bos was an older very stuck up woman who specifically told them not to smoke on the property and was not up for jokes whatsoever. She was so scared to see her again lmaoo
