Is anyone else interested in Cryptocurrency?

There are fortunes being made, and I can't inhale enough information. I know this isn't reddit, but I wanted to see if anyone else here enjoys the adrenaline rush.

I think it's mostly hype. Blockchain technology is pretty cool, but I don't think cryprocurrencies are ready for the world yet (or vise versa)

You are right. The world isn't ready to 'shop' with Crypto's etc.
But many are being readied for that eventuality, and some have now market caps in the billions.

They are gaining steam, gaining relevancy, but it's still buyer beware. The strongest will survive, and there are many avenues to do well investing now.

A big threat to the success of Bitcoin and other popular cryprocurrencies is just a general lack of computer security in the world, and that's not going to change anytime soon

There have been massive moves with both BitCoin and Ethereum, Mt.Gox and others being raped by hackers. These are concerns.

But hey you cross the street every day, and no one was ever killed by a BitCoin.

@Invisible: while you are coming from a security point of view, and I respect that....but there are Ways to protect yourself, Ripple has increased 116% since yesterday!

Buying and trading in Crypto is getting more and more safe by the week. It's buyer beware. You have to make sure you are as safe as possible, and do the homework to get you there.
