I'm a reddit mod. I've never actually banned anyone or removed any posts. Most people in our sub reddit are pretty respectful and follow the rules. Of course, our subreddit just deals with litterally listening to the radio from around the world. As long as you stay on that topic and dont say anything messed up in your post, you're fine.
@LordShadowfire If you're interested, its about shortwave radio. We dont have as many members as some of the other radio subreddits. But the reason i joined was because people were too salty on the other subreddits. The guy who started this one asked if i could be a mod, and i agreed. Mostly i update the status, approve posts (only a handful of people post), etc.
Its not a big subreddit at all, but thats what i love about it since we're all just there to have fun and play around with our radios.
I've seen terrible posts that are still up on reddit and Facebook etc but for some reason those don't get banned. That's why I think social media is a joke.
I don't like reddit. I think I would in theory but too many babies on there. I've seen comments that were very abusive but for some reason they were allowed to stay.
