It's a combination of tariffs implemented by Trump, deregulation done by Trump, supply chain disruption due to Trump's mismanagement of the pandemic, and oil companies increasing the price of oil because of deregulation by Trump.

@Jake966 Actually, Jakey boy, Biden's done a pretty good job of cleaning up the mess Trump left behind, but it takes time for some of that legislature to take effect. That's what your guy counts on. Hell, that's what the Republican party has counted on for decades. It's a very simple plan.

1. Republican gets into office, and inherits a recovering economy from the Democratic president who preceded him.

2. Legislation passed by the Democratic president begins to take effect. Republican president takes credit for the recovering economy while passing legislation to screw it up.

3. Republican president gets voted out.

4. Legislation passed by Republican president begins to take effect while Democratic president is in office, tanking the economy.

5. Everybody blames the current president for the fuсkups of his predecessor. Even though Democratic president is hurriedly reversing the terrible legislation passed by his predecessor, it won't take effect within 4 years.

6. Democratic president loses. Republican president inherits a recovering economy.

Lather, rinse, repeat. And that's how you got brainwashed.

Thank you for the explanation ! Oh by the way why hasn’t Biden secured the border ? Trump was building the wall and when Biden took over he not only stopped the building of the wall he threw away the materials that were still waiting to be used ?
