I think Instagram is a leading cause of low self worth in teenagers.

I have an account with them but barely use it. For the simple fact it is owned by facebook and that doesn't impress me much

This is why I don't follow people I know on instagram. Neither do I follow celebrities or influencers. I just use it for shopping and sale updates.

I generally like looking at stuff but in moderation. I like aesthetics but I also have Instagram for the memes as well as updates of stuff or people I follow

I used to hate Instagram so much so that I gave up using every account I had and deleted it. I don’t like how random strangers just follow people and then they unfollow if you don’t follow back. I don’t like how some users follow me and my real life friends on there as well. It’s weird, these people I remove as followers. I went back to start a using instagram this year, it’s been disheartening a lot of the time but now after 6 months. I’ve come to realise it’s mostly okay. Cause I’ve got angry many times with what people post on social media. Instagram isn’t really any worse.

I like Instagram but I’m selective with what I follow. I mostly follow businesses , like places to eat ,etc. I hate their censorship policies though . It sucks.

No, they have this stupid dating system that was recently adopted by SW too. Apart from that, you need an account just to be able to see posts despite that most posts I come across is promo stuff directed at broad public. Further, it's often hard to separate author's commentary from comments of other users.
It's not a good site but still better than Twitter.
