Ah the block mystery continues

I cannot figure this one out. We have knowingly been political opposites yet got along with everything else here. This was even acknowledged in threads. Never had direct political arguments. Laughed at the same jokes and applauded much of the same music. Now I see you, rinkydinkydoink, visited my profile yesterday and after that blocked me. It certainly wasn't something in my profile so maybe something I posted. Like so many of you who've had the same issue lately I'm completely miffed.
No tears just confused.

It's probably political.
I had a person knew long time always got along with.
I probably said something she didn't like about Trump and so one day blocked.
It's wasn't directed towards her and since she was adamant in her admiration I never argued the point with her.
I can scroll past things I don't agree with and have many times.
I'm sure someday I'll be blocked by Biden supporters because I don't believe he did a good job as president.
I'm fairly independent iny thinking.

Sometimes it’s not liking things that they see the person saying to others. I’ve been blocked for that reason. And oftentimes you’ll see them on your profile prior to a block because that’s where the block button is.

It could be that the outside Political world has got too real for them and they just want a break from anyone that disagrees with them, even if they disagree in an agreeable way:)

I think they may be back.

Sometimes on here, it is the only way to get a break from the opposite.

It's sad, but it seems the Democrat cult doesn't allow its members to even consider anyone with a different viewpoint human. They censor dissenting opinions as much as possible, to keep their brainwashed drones from being exposed to the truth, and lately they've been doubling down on the lies and violent rhetoric. Could be that person was feeling increasing pressure for daring to communicate with you.

I had that from Methdozer. I thought we were all cool and friendly and he even helped me out with a carburetor problem.

Then one day I was blocked without a reason why

Not hurt or nothing, just shock is a better term I would use.

Sometimes people get a bug up their ass and kill off friendships before they get close to them.

I have family members that have that "Kill All Ties" mind set and just disappear

yeah some of my blocks miff me too....like not agreeing with what's happening with the weather 😂....and recently resident tough guy kingofbones blocked me...thanks to trump 😂

You don't know what the doink has been going through in his personal life. It MIGHT be that there was just SO much that even a tiny, minor disagreement was the straw that broke the camel's back.

It's useless to speculate. I blocked him long ago, because he's an a$$ hat.

I block people whom I don't KNOW at all, sometimes, just after reading their nasty comments.

@AbsolutelyFabulous Recently did this as well. Was okay with just muting them, but something’s going on lately that’s making such behavior pierce through the muted walls and the amount of nearly constant exposure to this kind of character…good…gawd. The blocking has been strong in 2025.
