We see too many posts like this coming from honey trap / scammers who use images of strangers grabbed from social media accounts. So if you are genuine you need to stay put and interact with people by making connections. There are many other scammers n spammers too who will message you with all kinds of nonsense. You need to sail out of the shallow area to reach the mid-sea with select people and you will then know how to find the gems.
not just casual or silly conversations
Which means you have to start serious conversations through your posts and select people based on how they respond to your post and connect with them from there through PMs. So look around to see how people POST and then make your posts with a difference and have regard to those who respond seriously.

Yes. When you post you can select a category / mood which will connect you with those who have subscribed for the topic. But it would take time.

Make your intentions clear through your posts and the way you write/ communicate. People with good intentions will come by on their own.
