Well hell, usually when crap like that shows up on CL, they be sayin stuff like, "Do not lowball me, I know what I have!" Yeah they have dementia! Of course in this case he should have said, "Ran great before getting in wreck." Lot of good that does NOW.
One time I saw this Nissan 300ZX on CL that looked like a steam roller done ran over it. Okay, there was another photo of one in showroom condition below the steam roller wreck and the seller was like, "Just look at what is possible!" Yeah you drop enough mints and MAYBE. 馃檮
The BEST ad I saw once was this - some guy, who probably has a mullet and the complete Motley Crue discography on 8 track was selling a used Camaro. Before reading on, just try guess where THIS is going.
Okay, you ready for this? It described the car a bit, had a photo, and said, "No title. The previous owner went to prison before he could sign it over."
CL car ads, or car ads in general, have become a running joke.
One time my room mate was looking for a car to buy and on one of the ads she looked at the seller's FB profile. It was a picture of some guy with his mouth gaped and some kind of smoke coming out of it. I wonder what he was smoking? 馃
