Facebook Violating 1st Amendment?

I know, they're a private company, blah, blah blah.

But, if they provided a special portal to the federal government so the government can tell Facebook to silence a particular user, does that constitute a violation of the 1st Amendment?

Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai ran for US Senate in Massachusetts as a Republican and made allegations of voter fraud on Twitter. These tweets were then deleted by the far-left tech giant. Later it was discovered that they were deleted at the direction of government employees of the Massachusetts Secretary of State’s office.

Discovering this, Dr. Ayyadurai filed a federal lawsuit by himself, alleging that his federal civil rights were violated when the government silenced his political speech in order to affect an election.

In late July 2021, Dr. Shiva released another explosive report.

Dr. Shiva revealed how election officials and government actors work together to coordinate with social media platforms to silence speech in America.

Facebook apparently still has something similar

the problem with social media is that if they were upholding any sense of equity, they'd censor all political speech, rather than be politically biased. While censoring in itself isn't against the 1st Amendment, using it to push a false narrative is.

The 1st Amendment doesn't provide any protections for incitement of violence, false statements of fact, obscenity, copyright/intellectual property infringement, false advertising, etc.

vis-à-vis, all or nothing. If shitbook were concerned about proving a friendly, friends & family oriented social media, they'd censor & ban all hate speech, instead of speech based on bias.

If "maga" is considered an extremist group, then by their very own definition, so is blm, antifa, and any other leftist organization that promotes defamation of Trump & Trump supporters.

The lack of acknowledgement of that fact is why social media is losing it's credibility (and company/stock stability...). People are fed up, either they'll smarten up or go down in flames like twitter...

They do this to basically get around their inability to win over the crowd. God forbid the right does this, the left would get their asses handed to them.

Kinda like the NFL playing a varsity NCAA team - kaput.
