Ditto. It was far superior, it's quite obvious it was.
There were some excellent quality writers. It wasn't all shallow jokes, memes and nonsense. 🥱

It wasn't a better site - just had a group of people that complimented each other - (I'm agreeing the atmosphere was better) - although there were a couple of dry periods. And towards the end it was on life-support.

I do remember how playful it could be - and how pre-covid there was a period of time where we would post a pic with a mask on.

Wonder if we had the same rash of catfish - probably - but it's so obvious now.

I blame COVID and the contentious American politics for driving people away - or at least making them silent.

Do you feel you cannot be as open here as you had been on there? This place is still quite a bit more open than any other social media platform I know.
But to answer my own question it was more open on EP. More about sharing what was genuine.

What I did was saved my data from there. Once in a while I would take time to read old messages or works from there.
Really a good time (even if there’s few hiccups).

In my opinion E.P. was much better than S.W.,this place is boring and im spending less and less time here,and that's probably a good thing.

I enjoyed EP and had some good friends there. Seems like a long time ago now.

I was on it briefly at the end. I thought it was very similar to SW, but I don’t remember so well.

EP had more interesting groups and people were more open to talk about different topics.

I posted more there, stories and poems. It was just different.

It’s been gone 10 years now. Cool people still talk about it.
