It was a wonderful community

I met two people there who I became fast friends with. I hoped that one of the relationships would become romantic, but we remained good friends as I helped her get out of Boston and away from a stalker. We’ve now been best friends for about 15 years and she’s happily married out in the Midwest- just not to me. :(. Other chat friends I made then I stil correspond with. Maybe the internet was more authentic in the early 2000s? I don’t feel like friends I meet now will be around that long.

It’s not much different now. Which is to say it wasn’t immediately after the transition there are some nuisances, now that it has been years since the switch. But it’s largely the same. Welcome back! Ask a question get an answer then discuss? There seems to be a spam enforcement code now it’s best to not post too many questions all at once. You’ll get a cool down period of about 30 minutes; it can be annnoy. Also I’m not sure blocking or flag/report was a thing on the original EP. But it’s as much if not more fun!

Oh man I totally agree. There was magic at EP and I found good good friends who were there for me when my life was falling apart. I keep in contact with two of those OG EP still.

EP was so nice. changed my life. you are right it's not the same at all. EP was different. it was very special.

I was on EP for 7 or the 10 years it was on. Came here when it closed down. A few friends came here.

We all miss EP.
But let us make SW great as well. You can post right. Well make it interesting.
