Anyone use video calling in whatsapp, skype (does that still exist?), or similar social media systems ?

I've done it a little via whatsapp to communicate with my adult kids that live a fair way away. I never got into skype and actually found that system to be quite scary.

The skype ringtone is:

I never used Kik and it just seemed even more risky that skype.
