My boomerang. I threw it and it never returned. The guy at the shop won't give me a refund either.

@Wol62 if you threw it and it didn't come back, then it must have been a stick. Lol. 🤣🤣🤣

I've lost a lot of confidence lately and I would like that to come back. Winters are always hard though, I'll be fine in a few months.

I stopped wishing anything, a long time ago.

I just like to do whatever I can.

Very interesting question. In fact there's nothing I can think of that I would want to come back.
Welcome to SW! 🌷

Times when the concept of wars and authoritarian regimes was something that didn't concern me and was just something that was either happening far away or happened in past and we learned about it from books and movies.

Long shirts. I tire of crop tops.
Common sense.

Mini skirts & pantyhose.
Capital punishment.
@ChipmunkErnie That is what it is, ultimately. And sometimes vengeance makes sense. But if it’s not going to be implemented equitably, death shouldn’t be imposed as a sentence for anyone.
@ChipmunkErnie It is only murder if it is against the rule of law. Which is the case in the UK since 1965 the right to life is not absolute.
@bijouxbroussard I agree that it needs to be imposed equitably and there are also those of course who perhaps use psychological illnesses as a defence. Consequently their charge is reduced to that of manslaughter and not murder, at least in the UK - Peter Sutcliffe was the most recognised at the time. There was also a recent case whereby it was passed to the DDP because there was a public outcry. However here wealth was not a relevant factor when determining their sentence.
