How stupid can a person be?
I have an overseas friend who ive been chatting off and on for the past 11 years. She's a total flake and a bit of a scammer. Not to me but she tells me about her relationships she juggles and all the drama that goes with them.
Our deal is that I will chat with her anytime I'm avaliable but when we're chatting, i want her undivided attention just like i give her mine. (I have a major pet peeve about people wasting the time of other people. Time is life).
Yesterday, we were chatting for a few min on video. I was telling her an interesting story. She was looking in the direction of her camera but I could tell she was on a different screen, reading a message. Then our call suddenly dropped and when i messaged her, the massages were delivered but i got no replies. I knew she just ended the call without a word about it.
I messaged her my disappointment with her actions. Here's where it gets stupid. She replies back about an hour later telling me that her modem and router got wet due to a sudden storm and they quit working. I knew it was a bullshit story but I was playing along with it because why not. I asked her, so is everything all better now? She replies no they're still down. I sent a message " then how are you able to chat with me now?" I got crickets back.
I think she thought we were chatting through sms text messaging? ..lol i have a feeling that someone shared their latest excuse with her and forgot to tell her to wait until she wanted to be available again before offering the excuse.. lol
